A true stoneware clay. When fired at the recommended temperature of Cones 5-6 bisque is a warm buff peppered throughout with dark specks. Interesting textures. When reduction fired, No. 48 becomes a very dark brown. Amaco High Fire Glaze recommended for this stoneware body. Talc free. AP Non-Toxic. Two 25 lb. blocks of clay in polyethelene bags are packed in a 50 lb. carton.
